Phil is a Mason by trade. He is also a friend. I didn't like him when I had first met him because I thought he was going to fight me for no reason. I had once seen him just randomly punch a guy playing pool at the Dominion Tavern when he came back from the washroom and a fight broke out because of it. The funniest thing was the guy who he had punched got kicked out. Anyhow, turns out he is a nice dude. I took this portrait in Eric Poole's back yard when we were trying to make band photos for our then band People Explode. I think I just had Phil sit in as a test subject for lighting and ended up liking the test shot better than any selfie band photo we were trying to do. It just shows all you need are some buckets and a flash to make portraits. I guess you will need also need qty(1) Phil and one retro flip phone.
